Independent filmmakers Mike Corrigan, Travis Hiibner, Derrick King and Gary McLeod formed Head Juice Productions in 2004 after working alone and in lose affiliation with one another for years. Their collaboration has thus far produced two short films, the award-winning What’s in the Barn? (2005), and the newly-released Jack the Vomiter (2006), an irreverent homage to the silent film era thriller. The Spokane, Washington-based collective works exclusively in film-based formats, primarily Super 8 and 16mm. Areas of film interest include — but are not limited to — expressionism, surrealism, noir, stop-motion animation, documentary, and found footage. Their next film is currently in pre-production.
